Commercial Grade Power-driven Small Craft Training
Our training institution is officially approved by the Maritime and Port Bureau (MPB) of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications (MOTC). We conduct our training programs in accordance with official authorization (Ref. No. 1010002190). In strict adherence to the "Regulations for Yacht and Power-driven Small Craft Operator Management," we have developed a comprehensive curriculum that includes both theoretical classroom instruction and hands-on practical boat-handling exercises to ensure the highest standards of maritime safety and skill.
Training Objectives
Taiwan is surrounded by the sea and offers a rich and diverse range of maritime leisure activities, with yachting being a primary highlight. Our training courses are specifically designed for operators of small vessels under 20 gross tons. We ensure that our students not only master the necessary driving skills but also acquire the essential maritime safety knowledge required for a secure experience at sea..

About Yacht & Small Craft Licenses
Commercial Grade|
Allows the holder to operate vessels under 24 meters and gain commercial qualification (valid until age 65). Since the exam difficulty and course content are similar to the Private Grade, 90% of students choose this level to obtain both certifications at once.
Private Grade|
Valid for life; allows the operation of vessels under 20 gross tons. Can be upgraded to a Class 2 Yacht License after one year, but does not grant commercial qualification.
In accordance with the Seafarer Act, applicants must meet the following criteria:
Age: Between 18 and 65 years old.
Nationality: R.O.C. (Taiwan) citizens holding a valid ID or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC).
Criminal Record: No history of serious criminal offenses (e.g., firearms, drugs, or smuggling) resulting in a sentence of 6 months or more.
Health: Must pass the official physical examination for power-driven small craft operators.
